Schedule of Services
Holy Ascension Orthodox Mission
32 Electra St, Williamstown.
All services are entirely in English.

Confession Reminder to Our Faithful
The faithful are advised that confessions are heard 1 hour before Vespers on Saturdays (from 3 - 4pm. Last confession at 3:45pm). At other times in church by appointment.
A Note for Newcomers
(1) Orthodox Christians
For the Divine Liturgy, our Mission follows the Orthodox Christian custom where all newcomers to Holy Ascension are to make themselves known to the Priest and discuss with him Holy Communion participation. People who arrive late (after the Divine Liturgy has commenced) and require to see the Priest will have to wait until the service has concluded.
(2) Non-Orthodox Christians
Although Holy Communion and other Sacraments are offered only to baptized and chrismated Orthodox Christians, all are invited to receive the antidoron (blessed bread) from the Priest at the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy. The antidoron is not a sacrament, but is reminiscent of the agape feast that followed worship in the ancient Christian Church. For more information, please see one of the clergy.
Kontakion of Ascension
Tone 6
O Christ our God, when you completed Your mission for our salvation and united the
earthly with the heavenly, then You ascended in glory, not being parted from us but
remaining with us, and crying to those who love You: ‘I am with you, and no one shall
be against you.’
